Technology Department - Continue to Resources
The goal of the Technology Department staff is to provide the very best support possible for all of your technology related needs. The first step to better support for technology is a better understanding of technology. In order to help you understand the nature of various technologies better, we offer these resources for you to peruse as the first line of troubleshooting. We have a tutorials page that offers documents and flash tutorials covering many basic computing processes. We also have a file downloads page which offers district approved drivers and applications that you may freely install on your computer at work. We also have the new TKTS system. The TKTS system is an in-house project, written and coded exclusively by Ian Murphy, which provides the primary, and only, method for submitting technology requests and receiving hands-on support. TKTS allows you to open support requests, see who is working on your ticket, what has been done, and what solution has been implemented. It lets you stay informed of your request status, and to see what your Technology Department is doing to fix the problem. There are many resources here to help you increase your knowledge and understanding of the various technologies that we employ here at Piper.
